THE PROCESS
Color Metal Plaques products are manufactured using the following production process.
Aluminum anodizing is a two-step process.
First, an oxide layer is formed by electro-chemical means which creates
a perfectly formed honeycomb effect on the sheet's surface pores.
Then, when thermo-chemically treated, the oxide layer seals and becomes impervious.
We interrupt these steps by applying dyes to the open pores that are then sealed.
Shapes and holes are waterjet-cut into the sheets according to customer specifications.
